Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our lash and brow services, preparation, aftercare, and policies.
Eyelash Extensions
What are classic eyelash extensions and how are they applied?
Classic lashing involves applying one extension to one isolated natural lash, creating a soft, natural look similar to wearing mascara. Each extension is applied individually using precision tweezers. The full application typically takes 2–2.5 hours, depending on the desired look and the number of lashes applied.
How can I prepare for my eyelash extension appointment?
Please arrive with clean lashes, free of mascara and oil-based makeup around the eyes. If you wear contact lenses, please bring your case, as lenses must be removed prior to treatment.
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions are attached to your natural lashes, which shed as part of their natural growth cycle. While they can last several weeks, most clients notice natural shedding after 2–3 weeks. To keep your lashes looking full and fresh, infills are recommended every 2–3 weeks.
Do eyelash extensions damage your natural lashes?
No, they do not. When applied correctly by a trained professional, extensions are safe and do not affect the health of your natural lashes. Avoid rubbing your eyes or pulling the extensions, as this can cause lash loss and damage to your natural lashes.
Can I swim, shower, or get my extensions wet?
Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours, as the adhesive is still curing. During this time, also avoid steam rooms, saunas, and steam facials. After this period, you can resume your normal activities.
Can I have lash extensions while pregnant?
Yes, lash extensions are generally safe during pregnancy. Keep in mind that sensitivity and comfort levels may change, and a patch test is recommended.
Can I wear mascara on my lash extensions?
Mascara is not recommended, as it can affect retention and cause extensions to shed faster. If you must wear mascara, apply it only to your lower lashes and avoid waterproof formulas. Use a water-based, oil-free makeup remover when removing mascara and other eye makeup.
What are lash infills and why do I need them?
Your eyelashes follow a natural growth cycle and shed regularly — on average, we lose 2–5 natural lashes per day, which means extensions attached to those lashes will shed as well. Over time, this creates small gaps in your lash set. To keep your lashes looking full and fresh, we recommend booking an infill every 2–3 weeks.
Lash Lifts & Tinting
What is eyelash lifting and tinting?
A lash lift curls your natural lashes from the root to create a longer, lifted look, while tinting darkens the lashes for added definition — no mascara needed.
How long does an eyelash lift and tint last?
Results typically last 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle and aftercare.
Can I get a lash lift while pregnant?
In most cases, yes. However, hormonal changes during pregnancy may affect results. A patch test is recommended, and if you're unsure, please consult your healthcare provider.

General
What aftercare is required for lashes and brows?
For the first 24 hours, avoid water, steam, saunas, swimming, sweating, and oil-based products around the eyes or brows to allow the treatment to fully set.
Do I need a patch test?
A patch test is recommended at least 24–48 hours before your appointment to check for any sensitivity or allergic reaction to the products used.
Who is not suitable for these treatments?
These treatments may not be suitable if you have had recent eye surgery, have active eye infections, skin conditions in the treatment area, or known allergies to cosmetic products. Please disclose all relevant information before booking.
I'm under 18 — can I have treatments done?
Clients under 18 may receive treatments with written consent from a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must complete and sign a consent form prior to the appointment. Please download the form here and bring it with you on the day of your appointment.
